Which ages are Vault Funk and Vault Pro best for?

Vault Funk is ideal for kids aged 3 to 7, or for older kids who pack lighter meals or snacks. It’s compact, easy to open, and great for smaller appetites or shorter school days.

Vault Pro is better suited for ages 5 and up, including teens and adults. It offers more capacity and includes a modular side scoop, making it perfect for longer days, heartier meals, or a more varied lunch.

Are the lunchboxes fully leakproof?

Spriggo lunchboxes are leakproof and perfect for the thick and tasty; think ranch, ketchup, chunky salsa, hummus, or veggie dips. For those watery extras, let the side scoop in Vault Pro handle the job, keeping everything tidy and stress-free!

Is Spriggo food-safe?

Absolutely. Spriggo lunchboxes are tested by accredited third-party laboratories to verify their food safety and material compliance. All Spriggo lunch boxes are food-safe. BPA-Free and Phthalate-free, so you can pack those lunches worry-free.

Can we keep hot or cold foods in a Spriggo lunchbox?

Yes, absolutely. Spriggo lunchboxes are designed to handle both hot and cold foods with ease.

Made with high-quality stainless steel, they offer natural insulation: meaning they help food stay warmer or cooler for longer compared to plastic. While not vacuum-insulated, the stainless steel slows temperature loss, especially when paired with an insulated lunch bag or ice pack.

That’s an intentional design decision.

Vacuum insulation, while great for thermos-style flasks, comes with trade-offs: more weight, bulkier shapes, and complex construction that makes lunchboxes harder for kids to open and tougher for parents to clean. Plus, in flat lunchbox shapes with wide surface areas, the insulating benefit drops off sharply and your kiddo is left carrying a heavier box with very little gain.

That’s why we designed Spriggo the way we did: to give families the freedom to pack warm or cool meals without weighing down school bags or sacrificing ease of use and with mild insulation to keep lunch appetising and fresh by break time.

What kind of stainless steel does Spriggo use?

We use premium food-grade 304 stainless steel (also known as 18/8 stainless steel). It is durable, rust-resistant, odor-resistant, and doesn't retain food stains or flavors.

Unlike plastic containers, 304 stainless steel won't absorb smells, discolor over time, or come into direct contact with your food as it ages. It's one of the reasons Spriggo lunchboxes are designed to stay fresh, clean, and ready for years of daily use.
